Its been a busy period for me. Photos over photos, I’m running here and there.
A sudden call up for photo session, I only managed to inform few of those teachers who are in FB. Some were absent so this is not a full photo of everyone. 
Being a photographer you can’t make sure you look nice in the photo. I was running here and there getting things done. Its not easy to manage such big group photo. >.< Luckily they are cooperative this time.

Finally all the class photos were done and developed. Just got it from photo centre. I love the border and the fonts so much. 
A zillion thanks to my dear for helping me in the photo editing. He took quite a lot of time in processing about 140 photos.

We had open day cum jumbo sale today. Open day is for parents meeting up with teachers, collect their children’s result for mid year exam, and get to know the students’ performance in school.
Had a long morning meeting up with all the parents that came. I have 40 students in my class, 36 parents came. Each year the classes that I took are giving super high attendance (~90%) when it comes to open day. I’d say its among the highest of all. The others are ranging from 20-70% only.
There’re teachers who take turns to replace form teachers’ place for half an hour. Form teachers can take the chance to take sth, go washrooms and buy sth from the booths. I didn’t let the teacher on duty replace me for I wanted to meet every parents myself. Luckily I did take a short break when no parents were on queue. And thanks to my students who helped me out a lot in the process, was in a mess.
I’m happy that most of the parents are supportive and understanding. Some are humurous even. My students are mostly very good and well-behaved. Overall it was a nice meeting up.

FaceBook is so popular, so hot, that everyone is using. I’ve never wanted my students to find out my FB and blog, and no one actually knows I have christian name. ^^
Now that its becoming so popular, and I had been asked few times for FB, finally I decided to create a new account for my FB. Within an hour, already dozens and dozens of students and teachers added, and a lot of them are my Form 1 students.
Within a night I had discovered many things bout students… And I actually chatted with some. Its like a new era for old fashion people like me, and I’m creating new relationship and connection with students.
Then I think pretty soon I can follow Alvin’s method, announcements on FB and upload photos of school activities. XD Other than that, I believe there’s a lot more I can do, I can sense things are going to change…….

Collection of the day~ The umbrella is for every teachers. Its much better than the facial towel last year! ^^ The wrappings of the little gifts from students have improved so much this year compare to last year. ^^ I especially love the apple green shopping bag, its of good quality plastic with buttons even. ^^ The chocolate beary paper bag is also of good quality ones. Would it be a guilt to prefer the wrappings than the gift itself? :p
We had gift exchange for teachers when we proceed to hotel for buffet. I’ve got the silver gift box back. Guess what’s in it?
Its a grains clock from another teacher~ ^^ The umbrella’s got our school logo on it. ^^ This time around I’ve got 4 photo frames (I don’t really know how to deal with all the photo frames I have now ><) and 3 mugs, I love the yellow and green mug, seems like its quite popular nowadays? Nevertheless, I really appreciate them. I’m strict and I have high expectation towards them, and these showed me that there are those who appreciate teachers too.
This particular decorative ball has got a pretty ribbon on it and what surprised me was that it gives colourful lightings when you press a button at the bottom. What surprised me more was the water actually dripped out once when I press on the button! Better be careful~
This is a costly bracelet, I think. Was shocked! I asked my colleagues and they told me it should cost RM30 and above, if not buying from places like Sabah or Indonesia(would be around RM12 if from Sabah). I’m pretty at guilt to accept it though. Unless she bought it during her trip or her parents are doing business on these, otherwise it’ll be too expensive to be given as a gift for teacher.

One of my colleague who’s most popular among students received almost double of mine, telling me she can do some business on souveniors in a few years time, with no need of any capital. lol~

I was dragged into the group halfway and immediately they decided I should be the model. In the process of transforming~ Its been years since I last played this game. They should come out with new and creative games next time huh.
I had no idea what was placed on my head! Everyone got so excited when I was dressed up. ><
After I saw my own photo taken by students I went 3 lines on my face. =.=||| Ok, THAT WAS CUTE. And my ‘mini skirt’ was so short! They said just let me be SEXY. ><
My group of teachers, each group dress up two models. They actually dressed me with lesser time as I was pulled in half way. So, good job yeah?

We had Gotong-royong Perdana in school. It had been an issue in news recently that we have to work on Saturday before Teachers’ Day to clean up the school. Nevertheless, my school definitely follow the instruction from ministry. Everyone who came put in hard works.
They not only clean up the classrooms, but also every special rooms eg. library, office, labs, bengkels, computer rooms, Maths room, PPSMI room, and even the gardening of the school. So what’s my task? I’m photographer. :p
My class’ students. Girls were ‘borrowed’ by other teacher to help in cleaning Bengkel. >.< Do you think they are hardworking? My group of Chinese boys suddenly became such goodies that they offered to decorate the notice board, I was surprised!
After the whole morning these are what they came out with:
Do not think they are big, these are very tiny cartoons. You actually would not notice them from far. >< But I do appreciate their work, should laminate before pasting on the notice board. Otherwise I doubt they would last for a week even. The first product — monkey, its the best of all. They cut them out nicely, huh?
They even painted all the doors in school~!

It was Carnival Science Maths. Lots of activities going on for past few weeks. I’m in charge of Rubik’s Cube competition with another teacher. It was just the day after the accident. ><
This is the first time we have Rubik’s Cube competition in school. Asked student to help in taking photos but the mode was in macro mode thus its blur. This is half of the Form 2 group.
Form 3 group, super fast! There were around 20 students from Form 2 and Form 3 joining the competition, and all are fast, and furious~
Form 1, Form 4 and Form 5 only have 3 students joining each, and thus all 3 won prizes. These 3 are the Form 5 group, only 2 girls throughout the whole competition, one from Form 5 and another from Form 2. As there’s not many competitor, this Form 5 girl won the first with 2 min ++.
Winners of each form came together for final round. This guy on the left won the first, with the record of 19 seconds. Amazing?
As there was a tie for 2nd and 3rd place so we had another round for this 3. It happened that the first runner up (the white shirt boy) broke the record for the first guy, he made it at 17 seconds! But too bad he can only secure first runner up of overall competition.
Too bad I have to handle the whole situation and thus cant take better picture or video of the competition. Its really exciting and the students are truly talented!
