who took my mirror?

2010
03.25

I had two little round mirror on both my side mirror. Its called blind spot mirror, for the conveniece of parking and estimating distance.

Yesterday while I was going to drive back from school, I found something missing!

Both the blind spot mirror was taken off!  My first reaction was get down and check if there’s any other ‘injuries’ on my car. Luckily it was fine.

And I had to take off the remainding piece and gonna take some time and efforts to clean up the mirror before I can paste the new ones on.

I wonder if its those students who are too keen of their appearance that they need a mirror which can enlarge the tiny part of their faces?

Auntie Jani

Last picture of me before I was changed into auntie Janice.

In the process

The ‘flowers’?

Not really sure what I was going to look like after dried up.

Auntie Janice =.=

Ok, that’s my new hairstyle. Regretted, but still gonna live with it for few months before I straighten it back again.

They suggested me to clip my hair in this way so that the line on my head would not be that obvious due to my hair falling problem. This is really ‘cute’, but not cute on me. :p

Still acceptable? I can’t really accept myself in the new look. It didn’t come out as I expected, the hairdresser didn’t get what I want still, in the end. Hope I’ll look better when it gets longer. :(

Foot Massage

As our flight delayed for almost 3 hours, we went to try out the Thai’s famous foot massage. Didn’t have chance while still in Bangkok, and thus tried out this one in airport with double the charge compare to town area.

IMG_4354

The few students also having their foot massage. I was shocked to see a guy coming to serve me. All the others are ladies, where on earth did this guy came out? Quite uneasy but he’s very professional though.  The students commented they don’t feel much (pain) so I think the guy’s got more strength. :p

IMG_4360

They use wooden stick in massage of the acupuncture point. Not much pain, means I’m healthy? :p

IMG_4363

Upon finishing both my legs became pink elephant legs. I think this is the best service I’ve got in Thailand. :)   Am very not used to have a stranger serving me.  Yes, its a humble job, where you put down your pride.

Suddenly I thought of the washing of feet. I was unprepared and embarrassed when the massagist wanted to wash my feet, and so were the disciples. It was a different feeling and experience comparing to the washing of feet during the last supper. Those who wash the feet of others were humble, and I know, that I’ve not been serving as the Lord do.

Blessed Christmas to you, for our humble Lord, who serves with love, is born today.

We had a photography course in school yesterday. I’m the head of the teacher advisor of our photography club, if you are unaware of it. :)   Let’s see who are we having for the speaker this time?

IMG_1857

Yeah~ the one who’s more professional than me, of course!  Alvin gave a two hours course including practical session.

IMG_2590

And we had a look at some of the photos taken by students, and give some advice for them to improve on their photographing skills, especially of the angles of photographing. :)

IMG_1609

I have a group of students who just LOVE to take photos. Ok, they were trying to be creative, as Alvin told them so, just need to adjust on the angle they take photos. :p  Somehow most of them have problems in taking nice portraits, which I need to develop in students to help me out!

I like this photo, above all the others. Something different. I like their creativity, though for most of them, there’s still a BIG space for them to improve. :)

New Semester Starts!

DSCN0968

Its another new semester, a new bunch of freshies entering uni, and this time includes Alvin’s sis, Amy~  We were happy for her as she was given the course she wanted. :)   Thank and Praise God!!

Looking at the freshies reminded me of our good old days where we were the freshies, naive and ignorant.  I miss my campus life. :)

DSCN0970

Sending her to campus for enrolment, you just can easily tell who are the freshies.  They are all in white and black!  This is just the first counter, there were 8 counters all together. Wow, that’s a lot! I remembered I only went through one or two counters.

DSCN0981

Very few of the crews wearing masks.  The H1N1 isn’t that fearful huh? :p

DSCN0983

Welcome! Welcome! Enjoy your Uni Life~!

DSCN0988

Good time for business! They have all sorts of stuffs on sale. Pillows, blankets, mattress, pails, kettle, etc etc.

We laughed away when we saw a young man dragging along his big luggageS and also a new comforter set!  It make people think if he’s going to stay in ho(s)tel with air con. lol~~  Another one has two packs of toilet papers with him/her (didn’t see who’s the owner), I think that’s enough for one year supply, unless the person has sensitive tummy. :D

DSCN0990

Parents waiting under shelter. Some brought along the whole family. If you see those coming alone with heavy luggages, most probably they are from the east Malaysia. :)

DSCN1002

My jaws dropped when I saw this~!  Are they having this in every college? lol~

DSCN1008

We let Amy settle the registration and came back with her luggage after she was done.

That’s her room, its a room for two.  I’d say it’s better than my room last time. But some of my friends had much better rooms than this also. So it depends on your luck which college you are being arranged in.  I like the white board + notice board.

DSCN1009

Shelves are ready to be used. I had only a small table with no desk no shelves at all.  Anyway I stayed in college for one year and moved out. It feels like I went to a camp for one whole year. But it’s fun! I had 3 roomates (we had 4 person in a room) and we’d do all silly things especially in the middle of the night. You don’t sleep that much in camps, don’t you? :p  And I bought a desk similar to this after moved out. More convenient to put my stuff that’s getting more and more. :p

DSCN1032

Computer table which is already at your convenience.

DSCN1044

And that’s what was being given on the first day. That’s A LOT~! A pretty good laptop bag, umbrella, files, pen, T-shirt, very nice bookmarks, catalogs and even CDs~ I think I only had a file case and a silver piece of scarf then.

Sick

2009
06.18

Written this yesterday but didn’t manage to finish it. So read it as written on ‘Wed, 17June’. :)

I was in bed for whole day yesterday.

The night before(Mon), I was fine. We went for dinner outside.  About an hour after dinner, I started feeling something wrong.  After another 2 hours, after I tried to sleep, I threw out.  Ok, I thought, I’ll be fine after throw out. So again went back to bed.

But no, I’m still feeling very unwell.  Then I vomited again.  And I went back to bed again, thinking I’ll be fine.  I actually experienced the worst nausea ever, and threw out for 5 times before I went to see doc finally, at around 2.30am in the middle of the night.  Its most suffering as the car moved on.  Since its the middle of the night, only one clinic is available.

I sat in front of the Malay doctor, wasn’t able to utter a word. She asked me what did I eat.  I can’t reply at all, and rushed to the sink nearby, vomit again. Gosh, that’s horrible.  She’s still grumbling: why isn’t she (me, who’s vomiting) answering me?

Hey, can’t you see I’m vomiting? Immediately I lost all my respect towards this doctor. Still vomiting, Alvin answered on my behalf.  She said I had food poisoning.  Then she gave me injection, so off we go.  After reach home, another round! Ok, finally my stomach decided to have peace with me.  Otherwise the battle may never end. T.T~

But this is just the beginning of another battle. I started to have diarrhea. But it didn’t cause me any pain. So I’m fine with it. It continued on the second day, (Tue), and I visited toilet for like 6 or 7 times as well. Wow, I’m making real good friend with my washroom. :D   In the afternoon I went to see another doctor.  This one at least took my temperature and checked my stomach. (Comparing to the first one, only ask and directly give injection).  Slight fever at 37.8 degree Celsius.

He said I’m not food poisoned. Its just because I had sore throat and i swallowed phlegm into stomach, which caused the virus to attack my stomach. Ya, virus infection. So it decided to have some ‘stock clearing’ before it can function well again. So he said, its good to have all the virus cleared before you ask your tummy to work for you again.  He’s explaining very clearly and convincing. That’s what patients need, right? We don’t want to just walk out of the clinic, still confused on what’s going on.

Alright, then i shall just have some 100 plus and milo and porridge then.

And thank God after resting for one whole day, I’m getting better. But my sore throat was never cured. Is it going to bring me another strike from my stomach? :p

The good thing about this is that, I finally pampered myself to watch some disney cartoon that I wanted to watch for long!
