网上索取汽油津贴,即快速又简易 Fuel Subsidy

2008
08.19

This is written by Alvin, posted in our forum~  I just helped to re-post it here and do some translation. Hehe~

If you have yet to claim your fuel subsidy?? Having no time to make the long queue in post office?  Having problem in claiming from post office due to some technical problem?

Don’t worry, from 1st of August, you just need to sign up at pos online, and get your cash rebate in just one click away.

I’ve got my fuel subsidy throught this website last two weeks, and have got the money banked in to my account in 3 days time.  No queue, not even need to go out.  So easy~~

Try it out!

Was watching the badminton match between Korea and Malaysia just now.  Super exciting, superbly nervous!

First game Lee Chong Wei won at 21-18, second game lose at 18-21. That’s very close~!

OH MY GOD! He won!!!  I believe at that moment, everyone in front of TV or at the stadium would be shouting for joy, and that includes me~!  Wow Wow wow~~~~~

Last game 21-13, fantastic!

Shuttler Lee Chong Wei will win Malaysia at least a silver medal from the Bejing Olympics. The Malaysian number one player carved out a 21-18, 13-21, 21-13 victory over South Korean Lee Hyun-il in the semi-finals of the men’s singles competition Friday. Chong Wei will now clash with top seed and hot favourite Lin Dan of China in the final, which will be played Sunday.Bravo, our pride!

Trial

2008
08.12

Form 3 students are having their trial exam this week.  For my subjects which are not included in PMR, students had taken the exams too last Friday.  So I’m one of the earliest who got papers to mark.  I was happy as I’ll have the week’s time to mark when I enter the classes to observe them.

But I was wrong~  You see, students are having their exam in hall.  There’re almost 200 students here, from first to fifth class.  Secretly took this in front.  Hehe~  I walk along the rows all the time, checking out students’ need and reducing the possibility of peeping among students.  The good thing is these are considered the good ones of whom would concentrate on their exam.  For the last few classes who also gave up on their own, they’d chat or make noise or do anything funny and you just gotta watch them every second.

Last Sat during the replacement school day students were asked to arrange all these.  It shouldn’t be a problem if all students were there to help.  But you’ve to expect only one third of the total amount would show themselves up in school.  It was quite a hoo haa that day and I also got confused as I was not informed of anything.

Anyway, I still have pretty heavy work load though I don’t need to teach this week.  But it’s holiday next week, hip hip hooray~ :D

New Journey~

2008
08.07

I’ve started teaching for a week already.

Subjects given: Pendidikan Moral (Moral Education) and Pendidikan Sivik (Civic Education).

Classes given: 9 class, including Form 3 and Form 4.

New Task: Form Teacher of a Form 3 class.

So, I’m starting a new journey in my teaching life, as well as my career.

Though I’m pretty reluctant to teach those subjects, but at least for this few months, I’ve got to.  Why I don’t really like the subjects?

Well,

  • These two subjects are not included in the PMR or SPM (for Moral, it’s included in SPM).  Students don’t really bother about them.
  • There was no Civic Education during our time.  This is like a pre-Kewarganegaraan, a subject giving you some basic knowledge on our country. Eg: the government, the cultures, etc.  Though this is already a much easier stage, it was my killing subject.

Anyway, the good thing is:  the Form 3 students are going to take their PMR in Oct so I probably don’t need to teach much after their trials next week.  But I don’t think they are going to study for their PMR anyway….

Just one thing I wanna mention…  I don’t know whether it’s a trend here or it’s a trend of all the young ones.  But I really think lots and lots of them do not know respect and manners.  Haiz haiz~
