The Twins

Its been a long while since I last update on our new BuiBui TutTut. The outdated updates:

DSC_0288

BuiBui & TutTut had been fighting severely and causing each other injuries few months ago. I had to seperate them in two cages and take turn to stay in the bigger cage since the other one is very small.

DSC_0310

Asked for better solution at the pet shop where we bought them,  the boss offered to have both of the hamsters teeth being cut off, so that they have shorter teeth and feel a little pain when they wanna bite each other.  He had always provide this free service to his customers.

Thus brought BuiBui & TutTut there, and had their teeth cut.  But then we found out a cruel truth: Both of them are male hamsters!  This is a shock, as we bought from the pet shop and they told us one male and one female. Our wait for them to produce new generation is a mission impossible all these while!  And that explained why they were fighting each other while they were pretty close in the first place.

The worker there know us quite well also, and he said he’d change for us if we want, but without the knowledge of his boss.  After 2 attempt finally we changed one of the hamster.

After about a month plus for the new couple getting together, while we didn’t put much hope at all, Amy exclaimed excitedly last night, that baby hamsters were born!DSC_0429

It really took us by surprise! I remembered I just checked them last week and was pretty sure new TutTut wasn’t pregnant, and suddenly a twin was borned!  At first glance Amy thought they were some worms in the cage! Its our first time to have baby hamsters in the house thus all were excited. :D

DSC_0433

Immediately took out BuiBui and place him in separate cage. Though he’s the father but to be on the safe side, just let them be seperated for this few weeks. And I shall not clean the cage for the next 3 weeks, until the little ones are teenage then.

Thanks to the newly upgraded mom who placed her babies at a corner that we can see them, I thought she’d give birth in the house. The twins struggled each time to milk themselves, as the mother want them to learn to find food themselves. :)

30.10.09, a day to remember, a pair of twins was borned in the house. :)

Read info from internet source that babies would be fully grown in 5 weeks, that’s fast!

The King Penguin~

DSC_0034

I think these two might be infected by some disease or what…  But some people say they are in their moulting period.  Actually rather disgusting to look at the back, pity the penguins.

The couple~

DSC_0028

There’s more penguins here compare to the Ueno Zoo we went in Tokyo.  But a little disappointed as I don’t see snow.

DSC_0046

I love their white fur

Visiting Jurong Bird Park

DSC_0010

After our luxury breakfast we went off to Jurong Bird Park. Chua & Kit had not been to bird park for many years so its good to pay a visit together. :)   Bought our ticket at the counter, each comes with a food & beverage + souvenior voucher.  Didn’t take the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 package (Night Safari & Zoo) as its quite tiring, especially when all 4 of us are taking endless photos. :p

Kit printed out discount voucher from internet and we get $2 discount each, which is also equivalent to the discount given if you take those packages.

DSC_0013

Yeah, finally we’re in!  It was rainning at first, but stopped pretty soon after we enter, Thank God~ According to the weather forecast, it’ll be rainning everyday in the afternoon until the day we left. But in the end it only rainned on the day we visited the bird park.

Took photos with the giant penguins.

DSC_0011

Entering the Penguin Expedition its the model of a ship.  Does this have anything to do with penguins?

Of what I watched…

2009
10.22

FB is currently an easy source for me to get funny, interesting, fantastic videos.  I don’t know yet how to put the videos uploaded in FB to blog, so just put some videos in youtube. ^^

This is really fantastic, how I wish this can happen in Malaysia! I’d be waiting there for sure.  I felt my goose bumps all over watching it.

More than 200 dancers performed this at Central Station of Antwerp on 23 of March, 2009 at 8.00 a.m.  And they had rehearsal for twice only~!

The Best Working Place in the World!  But I bet its not easy to get a place in it then, all should be top talented people.  And you can tell Google is going to be the top of the world with these happy and productive emplyees.

Many people gave negative comments on the proposal, what say you?  I think its meant to be between the couple and not the public. :p   But indeed its a special one.  Guys out there, sorry to put you in trouble if your gf watch this. :D

Ya Kun Kaya Toast

2009
10.20

Although we stayed quite close to Singapore, but we hardly visits Singapore.  Main reason was the hectic traffic and the tiring journey, and we don’t have a place to stay there too.  Thanks to Chua & Kit who took the trouble to bring us around during our stay. :)

IMG_3050

The first breakfast in Singapore, Chua & Kit brought us to Ya Kun Kaya Toast.  Its a famous franchise in Singapore, you can find it at many places.

Drooling half boiled eggs..

DSC_0008

You can scoop out the egg white and have the egg yolks still in one piece~ That’s amazing. And its always soft enough for half boiled eggs.  Add in pepper and soya sauce as you like. :)   Yummy~

DSC_0002

We had tea and coffee, and each of us had 2 eggs!

DSC_0005

And that’s the famous signature dish, the kaya toast.

DSC_0009

And sth new, the French Cheesy Toast, this is real good.

We saw the burgers ordered by the customers next to us. Very huge burger~

DSC_0649

This is fantastic! Better than the pizzas and sushi, we love this~ Mexican Cheesy Quesadillas, Chicken Cajun flavour. We had tomato salsa flavour as well.

DSC_0655

As it’s not a weekend and there weren’t too crowded in the restaurant, they were able to mix the pizza flavours for us. For this one we have the Signature Japanese Pizza cum Favourite Turkey Hawaiian.

DSC_0660

Again, the tempura tiger prawn roll~

DSC_0661

As Chua is a vegeterian, we also ordered some vegetarian food. This is Fresh Herb & Mushrooms Roll.  Not bad!

DSC_0667

Nice look on the veges~

DSC_0674

Then we also have the SeaFood Sambal Pizza cum Vegetarian Island Pizza~ I love the SeaFood Sambal~

DSC_0679

After having all those above, we decided to add one more order. And it was actually a mistake, lol~  The Cheesy Chocolate with Bananas. Just curious of what is it taste like with the weird combination.  And we’ve prooven its not really a good combination. hahaha~ It’s ok but not up to expectation though.

Sun Hwi was back to see Baby Olivia and beloved ones, we were going to Singapore for Deepavali holiday. Chua & Kit came to fetch us (thanks so much to them!), thus we had dinner together at El Migos.  We lowered ourselves for Baby Olivia. :p

DSC_0695

She’s well known of her thick, black hair! Everyone would be exclaiming at her hair by the first sight of her. She had her hair almost bald during her full moon, and now she’s 3 months ++.

DSC_0698

The happy family~

DSC_0700

See her thick black hair?

We were just back at home, thousands of photos taken, and I shall need quite some time to blog on this trip. ^^ Thanks so much to Chua & Kit for the fruitful and enjoyable and comfortable trip. :)
